These are the questions I am asked most frequently, if you have additional questions, please reach out!
Who do you represent and how does that affect me?
I represent Edge, and I also have your best interests in mind. I try to ensure my clients are happy, using clear communication, as well as trying to set proper expectations. Inevitably, there will be questions and concerns that arise. I do not make decisions for your contract, your build, or for Edge. It is my job to relay messages from the Seller (my client) and to make sure we are contract compliant. I also want to ensure that you understand communication coming from Edge Homes. If you have representation (an agent who is representing you) they will be responsible for making sure you understand your contract, fees, and sellers disclosures. If you don’t have an agent, this responsibility passes to you, the buyer.
When do I see you (Janine) and what do you do during the build process?
You will have several meetings during this process (possibly design, customization in some cases, pre-construction meeting, and orientation at the end). I don’t attend most of these meetings as you have amazing Edge representatives who specialize in these various areas. I am always here to help you when needed. I love interacting with all my clients, and I’m always here. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I follow your file, keep up-to-date with what is happening on your home, and participate in group text communication as the builder is building your home.
Do you reach out to me and when can I expect to hear back from you when I reach out?
At any given time, I have quite a few buyers in various stages of the build or pre-build process. I try to be very responsive, but sometimes I don't get done with appointments until late at night, so if I don't get back to you, please feel free to reach out again, sometimes I need the reminder. Please also give me some time to figure out answers to your questions and if it's a weekend or evening, I might not respond until the next day, or business day, as appropriate. I will be on the group text for your build (single family and townhomes only), but it will be up to you how much we communicate!
